In addition to BioVision’s headquarters, quality center, and manufacturing facilities in Golden, Colorado, the BioVision team encompasses a network of global manufacturing affiliates in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, mainland China and Taiwan. Together, this network of affiliates provides a cost-effective, timely supply of key materials and components for BioVision endoscopes and for the SurgView™ tower.
The BioVision team believes in strong, long-term relationships with key manufacturing affiliates; in most cases, BioVision has been sourcing from the same affiliates for a decade or more. BioVision has licensed proprietary manufacturing technology and provided extensive training to key affiliates, and has formalized these licensing arrangements via long-term exclusive agreements. Our global affiliates allow us to optimize cost-effective just-in-time manufacturing that supports time-to-market and volume pricing. Even more importantly, as a result of our long-term, developmental approach to global sourcing, our affiliates share our sense of corporate mission.
